John's Travels
Over the past eight years Author John Lunn has taught and lectured around New England and across Canada talking with classes of all ages about writing and the value of science fiction as a literary genre. In May 2009, he participated in the Saskatoon three day Literacy for Life program, teaching and sharing ideas with kids from grades three through twelve.
In 2008, John spent two weeks as 'writer in residence' at the Derryfield School in Manchester, New Hampshire, teaching creative short story writing to the 7th grade. Afterwards, he started an online writer's group with several interested students.
The online school visit program is an extension of that experience. John has met with classes as far away as British Columbia from his New England iD8 Studio.
